I write this post because I don’t want to hear comparisons between the two platforms. Generally those who choose to open a blog will generally choose these two options, so I will try to convince you which of the two suit you the most. Here are my thoughts about WordPress Vs Blogspot fight.
Because it offers the user a web design template that can start a website / blog without any complications in HTML or PHP, WordPress is currently the best solution for those who want a blog. You have two options, to go on WordPress.com, and with two or three clicks to have your site ready or WordPress.org, which is somewhat more complicated, it takes the host and other things that require some field knowledge. To better understand the difference between the two, visit each site and see what it is about and which one suits you best. The advantages of this platform, besides the fact that it’s free, there are plenty and I will try to highlight only the most important. The thing that I like most is the simplicity that it is very well organized and structured, and the themes are simple, so you can create in minutes, a site that looks good, without many headaches. You can see traffic on the site at any time, but here is a little problem, it displays all impressions only, and not unique visitors, but do not forget to mention that this is also a free platform.
On the other hand, we have the Blogger platform from Google. I had experienced it a few years back, but I was disappointed. Unnecessary widgets, and the extremely idiot design makes this site look miserable. I know some will say that the most important thing in a site is the content, but my opinion is that design matters at least as much. Do not know why, but I noticed that most people choose Google’s Blogger before WordPress. In many cases you will see the names of blogs taken from who knows what movies, most made out of boredom. Really, I’m tired of seeing all over the internet blogs opened out of boredom, especially as some seem to be proud of that.
In conclusion, if you want to start something serious, choose with confidence WordPress, and do not take for granted when people say that Blogger is better because it’s easier to use (honestly I did not find it). Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have something against Google’s Blogger, but with all my ears of expertise in websites and design, I reached this conclusion.
Few extra words on blogging platform
Besides the two I have discussed above, there is another interesting platform, but it isn’t free. Square Space, offers a look quite similar to WordPress, but it is much more complex, you can edit at will virtually any aspect of the site. You have the trial option for14 days, enough to try all the options and to get used with the organization.
