1. Know your end-users and their preferences
It is very important to know the preferences of your target audience and take them into consideration while designing the apps. The most important step is to keep your design as simple as possible; if your design clutters up the app, then there is no way that the users will find it appealing. I suggest that you go for “minimalistic” designs, which are much in demand at present; this because users respond well to sleek and streamlined apps which are also easy to use and an app with too many design elements only confuses them big time.
5. Test your apps
Ultimately, test your app to see if it still lacks anything in terms of design. What you can do is, select some of your target users and ask them to try your app on their device and provide you with a feedback. It is this feedback from the users, which will help you to give final touches to the design of the app before you submit it to the iTunes Store.
