These days, I am going through blogs and other sources, to learn how can a blog master monetize their blog. Here is what I think about Infolinks.
Infolinks is one of the leaders in pay-per-click In-Text advertising services. Established in 2007, it has the most attractive business model, and it also offers the highest revenue share to its partners.
Because it’s of free usage feature, it enables website owners, publishers to benefit from it without any risk, and without any commitments.
So, what is In-Text advertising? In-Text advertising is one of the methods in online advertising that inserts text link ads within website content. By doing so, every time someone clicks on an In-Text advertisement, the publisher will get paid by the advertiser. The good thing here is that Infolinks will help in finding advertisers
Infolinks is similar to Google AdSense in many ways, that some may refer to it (Infolinks) as an alternative to Google AdSense, although, Google AdSense is still the best pay-per-click service provider in the internet.
How is Infolinks similar to Google AdSense and can be an alternative to the later? Well, here are some of the considerable facts that are worth noting.
Google Adsense as well as Infolinks offers pay-per-click services. What does this mean? Pay-per-click is an online advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, where the advertisers pay the publisher (usually a website owner) when the ad is clicked (Pay-per-click, Wikipedia).
So, how does this works? Let’s put it this way. When someone published an article, webpage, or similar items, relevant links will be inserted into the article or webpage, so that when someone views the article or website that was published, the viewer will find a relevant linked word, and possibly the viewer will wonder what is there in the link, thus, the viewer will click on the linked word, and when that happens the publisher will be paid by the one who inserted the relevant link into the article or the webpage.
Infolinks offers high pay out, and claims to be one of the highest in the pay-per-click online advertising services.
It is said that if you are new to this business, it is advisable that you will use Google AdSense, since it is developed by a very trustworthy service provider, and will help prevent scams and other forms alike.
But as you developed the skills pertaining to this online business, you can shift to other provider such as Infolinks. Infolinks uses In-text advertising, since In-text advertising is considered to be the least intrusive type on advertising, and the advertisements takes only a little space in a site. It is also good to note that Infolinks doesn’t allow pop ups to enter their site. Unlike other sites, pop ups are so rampant, that it usually leads to destruction, especially when you’re time is limited.
Actually, there are many other sites which offers similar scheme as Google AdSense, they just differ in one way or another, but the concept and the purpose still remains. So, you’ll have a wide preference to consider, and I hope that you’ll be getting the perfect one for you, in which, you can use effectively and efficiently.

thanks for your comment, Bhushan.
It is important that you explore the different income sources that you can use for your website or blog. Not everyone will be able to make big bucks on a single income source. There are those that work better because of a blogger’s personal preferences.
John — true. It requires a lot of hard work and honest effort before you make money online.
There are a few competitive programs that can replace the “infailable” Adsense but most people don’t really think about it until they get banned from Google’s Adsense in the first place. Most companies usually pay 10-20% less from my experience of even less if you go for CPM but depending on the niche you might still earn good money.
agree. Google Adsense is the best and if you have it in your bucket, you really don’t need another one.
Hi Rashmi,
Amazing article… But I personally don’t like Infolinks… Adsense helps to generate higher revenue… Also Adsense can be kept away from the post, but while using Infolinks, the readers are surely distracted..

Hi Rashmi, thanks for sharing this review about Infolinks. I have been using this in text advertising network, and have made a decent amount of money through it. It’s not actually an alternative, it can be used to generate supplementary income from our websites or blogs.
Hi Rashmi
Thanks for sharing this review with us
I have used Infolink ads before on one of my website, The problem I faced with Infolink compared to Google Adsense is that it pays much less compared to Google Adsense for every clicks and and also there is much less targeted ads, which reduces the click rate.

Infolinks is a great way to help monitize your website however i belive the technology they used needs a bit of refining and their response time needs to be a bit quicker
I could not get my AdSense account approved and so looking for an alternative. Hope infolinks can do something for me. Thanks for the info.
I am using infolinks on some of my blogs. but it is not much profitable as adsense. I use to make 5-6$ per month
but it is best in text advertising if a person do not has adsense then he should go for infolinks or direct ads

Info links was disastrous for me as well. Whats more irritating about their revenue share is that they did not pay me $0.01 for even 7 clicks. I reported this and they said that I needed more traffic and also to create an own advertising campaign.
i don’t know my website is not approved by infolinks, after my adsense has banned by google. now i use bidvertiser .
