Google Apps for Business: A great tool for working individuals. Is it really that great?
With today’s technologies, we need to be time, effort & cost efficient in our transactions. This is made possible with the new technology referred to as “Clouding”, where you can store your files, synchronize, and access your files anywhere – using the web, on your computer’s hard drive or on compatible mobile devices. You have the option to publish it so that everyone will have access to it or you can control the accessibility of the data so that only those with authority can have access to it.
With this, it’s nice to know that you can have access to your files anytime, anywhere with Google Apps specially designed for working individuals and businesses professional, from small scale to multimillion dollar enterprise.
Google Apps for Business is a web-based professional office suite which offers security, great connectivity, synchronized working, cost efficient, etc…
Data security with Google Apps
Google Apps offers security features specifically designed to safeguard your data in your control. This app enables you to control all data in it, including who to share and how you share it.
When working using Google Apps, it automatically backed up all the data on Google Servers, so in cases of accidents, or perhaps your computer was stolen or crashed, you’ll have access to all your data in just a short time.
Google Apps doesn’t only provide exceptional security; it also guarantees reliable access to your data every single day.
Great Connectivity: Google Apps
With Google Apps, all the data are stored on Google server, thus, you can get access to your data anytime and anywhere using any suitable device.
Synchronized Working
With Google apps, you can work together with your team as if you were really present. You can view the same files at the same time without you being present or the other way around. Virtual Meetings, conferences, etc… is made possible with this technology. Isn’t great?
What ifs:
Though we know that Google – the service provider of this great tool, is a trustworthy company, who knows, things might change in an instant, and you’ll be shocked. Before it’s too late, think ahead and use your imagination.
1. What if Google will be corrupted, things happen. For instance, Friendster.com, who would think it, will deteriorate? Before, it used to be such a great tool for communicating with your love once, friends, acquaintances, etc…, aside from it, it is also a cloud storage – you can store your photos, videos, and other file formats in it, but all of a sudden, it was corrupted. The photos you store in it have changed into a cartoon character and other non-sense. Would you like your important data or files to be transformed into cartoon characters? Does anyone want that to happen? I bet you won’t.
2. They – the service provider, claim that your data’s will be safe and secured and that you have full control of it, but, can they be really trusted? Google, as I have said is a trustworthy company, but again, “no one is perfect”, so as true as “no service is perfect”. Possible lapses may occur, and when it does happen, your files will be travelling all over the world. Think about it.
With all fairness and praises to Google apps, so far, it’s been doing great, and I personally used it in selected transactions.

I’ve been using Google Apps for many years and without any security and privacy issue. Google has recently introduced Google Drive to enhance user experience. By heart I’m loving Google services.

I don’t think Google will deteriorate. They are currently acquiring all the best technology around. They have the popular YouTube, the first live search engine, an Android platform, and so much more in the next few years. Aside from that, I think their CEO is smart enough to set up back up plans.
